By Sandra K. Ziebold  How long do you take with an initial creative thought before that nugget turns into a full blown business plan, strategy, change, painting or other creative realization? Don't you just love the creative fireworks that are pervasive and you just can't shake them?! That tiny little creative thought that turns into a full vision. The key is to take your time and let it foster into something great and then implement. Once you have the full vision then you need to take action. It's okay to tweak and modify along the way but just get started. Note down your thoughts, write it, draw it and then continue with the process until fully realized. Time can definitely be a challenge. Think of it this way, doing just one thing each day that furthers the process toward completion then at least you are moving forward and not just sitting on a full vision unrealized and not in progress. Believe in what you visualize and make it happen. I'm always very busy and in the midst of all of it, I'm constantly getting new ideas. The key is managing your time well. Right now I have three creative ideas that are pervasive. I have the full vision of another mixed-media painting and I have two new startup business ideas. Time is definitely a challenge but one I'm up for! How about you?! What's in your head...what are you going to begin implementing today? Your idea might be personally, professionally or philanthropically creative. Moving forward on your idea will make you feel good and will likely have a great outcome. Get Started!!  My envisioned mixed-media painting involves, among other things, the use of the following: 1. 24x48 Canvas 2. Acrylic paints of various colors and mixing; but primarily a burnt red and a golden autumn hue 3. Liquid white 4. Black chalk 5. Dried leaves and/or pressed decorative papers 6. Brushes 7. Metal spreading and scraping tool Work that is commissioned is my main focus and it moves along much more quickly. This vision in my head is something that I will work on as time allows. The important thing is to keep moving forward on it or it will never get completed. Keeping the canvas on an easel nearby with my selected array of project tools means I can easily keep at it!!
