Especially Wicker...Announcement Letter...written by the Owners...
Dear Friends, Clients, and Customers,
For years, many of you have asked, "Are you two ever going to retire?" And, in recent years, we've fielded more than a few offers to buy our property. Finally, one of those offers has gotten our attention, providing the answer to that age-old questions... "Retire?? No. Change direction?? Yes!"
And so, after Labor Day 2015, we will close our doors, clean out all the hidden corners, and slow down just a little!
Our current plan is to continue with our design services, working as needed. After so many years in the casual furniture world, our manufacturers have agreed to allow us to maintain our buying status so that we can continue to offer quality product along with our design and consultation services. We've made many great friends along the way, and we look forward to continuing in the business, without the confinement - and the 6 day work week - that a retail location entails.
What does this mean for you? Well, if you've always planned to add to your existing collections, now is the time to do so. We will have our off-site warehouse through the end of the year and our staff is available to assist you in completing your indoor and outdoor living spaces, taking special orders in August for delivery this year.
As for our existing inventory, it's priced to sell - and going fast! Everything in the store and warehouse must go and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Warehouse items will be brought to the store as space permits until they are gone.
Oh, and after working six days a week for 28 years, we might need some suggestions on how this slowing down process works...!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making these 28 years so very special!
Vicki, Marilyn and our wonderful staff
